Overview

ZHELTA Academy's three-semester Network+ pathway takes you from cabling and IP addressing all the way to defending a multi-site enterprise network. Every lesson opens straight into a hands-on Packet Tracer or GNS3 simulation — by the end of Semester 1 you can subnet on a whiteboard, by the end of Semester 2 you're configuring OSPF on real routers, and by the end of Semester 3 you've written a complete incident response run-book. The track maps 1-for-1 to the CompTIA Network+ N10-009 exam objectives so you finish ready to sit and pass.

What you'll learn

  • Semester 1 — Networking Fundamentals: OSI + TCP/IP models, IPv4 / IPv6 addressing, subnetting on a whiteboard, cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fibre LC/SC, T568B), common ports + protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/SSH/SMTP/DNS/DHCP)
  • Semester 2 — Routing, Switching & Wireless: static + dynamic routing (RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP basics), VLANs + 802.1Q trunking, STP, wireless 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax + site survey, network services (DHCP, DNS, NTP)
  • Semester 3 — Network Defense & Operations: firewall + NAT + ACL rules, IPsec + SSL VPN, SIEM intro + log analysis, troubleshooting methodology (CompTIA 7-step), SDN + cloud networking primer, NIST + zero-trust frameworks
  • 60+ hand-authored Packet Tracer / GNS3 / EVE-NG labs — every lesson opens directly into the simulator
  • 3 graded capstone certificates (one per semester) demonstrating end-to-end networking competence

Outcomes

  • Pass CompTIA Network+ N10-009 on first attempt
  • Subnet, design and document a multi-site enterprise network
  • Configure routers + switches + wireless APs from CLI (Cisco IOS, JunOS-aware)
  • Defend a network with firewall rules, ACLs, VPN, and SIEM-driven alerts
  • Qualify immediately for NOC Tier 1, Network Support Technician, and Junior Network Admin roles
